A bit of news....

OK, so this blogging and posting of news kinda slips my mind a bit, but a lot has happened and its time for a big update.
First up, the big reason for the complacency is the new addition we have - little Molly May.

Nothing like a baby to make you realise how much free time I used to have!

Thankfully during the whole being pregnant phase, we managed to get some changes happening to the website, so its looking good and working better. The updated site is now a complete online shopping site with products available in different categories. The creativity is starting to return, so there will be constant updates to the products online - keep an eye out.

At the moment there's a few one off items available, so get in quick. For example:

As well as getting the website set up, we've also been working on building up a base of retailers to stock my jewellery by putting together a wholesale range that hopefully complements the online stock.
So what's coming up? Well its back to the Rock n Roll Markets on 27th November. I'll be selling a lot of the usual stuff, plus some heavily reduced old stock. I'll also be offering a big range of pendant necklaces - where you can choose your pendant and choose the necklace to go with it, whether it be chain, crystal beads or coloured plastic beads. Something like this:

OK, its been a while since the last blog post, but hey, its been the silly season so Im excused, right?
Looks like 2011 might just be the year that Debstar takes a big leap up, given the way things are going right now. So whats been happening?
Well, to start with, Debstar is pretty excited about now being stocked in quite a few stores across Australia. Down in Melbourne, you can pick up your Debstar Designs pieces from Visage n Vice. And then over in Perth its all happening with both Red Stripe and Burlesque Baby stocking Debstar.
Plus, dont forget, right here in Sydney, you can pick up many limited edition pieces from Gallery Serpentine.
Debstar is currently working on becoming a supplier to Attitude Oz, which will be a big coup if that goes ahead. Cross your fingers for me!

The next Rock n Roll markets will be on 20th Feb, so come on down because there will be a whole lot of special deals on. I'll put out another update soon, but just to give you an idea: big reductions, bonus bits and pieces. It will definitely be worth while coming and saying hi (and buying stuff!).

Rock n Roll Markets November

October Rock n Roll Markets

Yep, its that time again. The Sydney Rock n Roll Markets are on again this weekend, Sunday 17th. Debstar is there again and wants to see everyone come along and check out the stall and all the Rockabilly, Gothic and Roller Derby jewellery currently available. Its getting better and better and there will be plenty of new pieces on display. The markets are proving to be a big success and a huge day out for everyone. What could be better...a beautiful Sydney spring Sunday....cold beers...music...and SHOPPING!!

Rock n Roll Markets

The Sydney Rock N Roll Markets is on again this weekend, and Debstar will be there! Of course, being International Talk Like A Pirate Day, there will be a bit of a theme. Debstar is going Pirate! Aaaarrrrrr.
So me hearties, come on down and visit, spend a bit of time browsing, grab a beer and a bite to eat, check out the bands and enjoy the day. The last markets was a big success for everyone and its going to get even better. Debstar is looking forward to seeing you there. Or she'll make ya walk the plank, ya scurvy dog.

Debstar Designs is heading to the Gangsters Ball to flog her wares! Its going to be a huge night of Cabaret, Vaudeville, Swing and frivolity. The first Sydney Rock n Roll Markets was a huge success. So many people came and it looked like everyone had a great time. And the best bit is...its on again next month too!! So Debstar is frantically putting together a whole lot more jewellery for next time (September 19th, write it in your diaries!). The new range of resin pieces were popular so there will be more of those, plus all the vintage pieces, the Goth stuff, the Rockabilly bits and by popular demand, some Roller Derby jewellery as well. Debstar's 1st Blog!

Yep,

Debstar is doing my all to spread the word about what I do best - create unique, handmade Rockabilly, Gothic and Roller Derby jewellery. So far, the Debstar website has been launched, where you can check out the current range, as well as special one off pieces and gallery of people wearing Debstar, and I'm in the process of promoting my jewellery to stores in Australia, and hopefully around the world. Then theres the market stalls over the past year at such places as Greazefest, the Sydney Tattoo Convention, and numerous Roller Derby bouts including The Great Southern Slam in Adelaide, and Sydneys Gothic festival Under the Blue Moon. So whats next on the agenda? I'll keep you posted.
